Why can we not walk thru the history rather than just learning it from text books??
Why can we not learn history by seeing it live??
Having been countless number of times to Egypt and Jordan, I have often asked this question that why was i as a kid not brought here to understand history better?
Walking thru the Pyramids in Giza, the Philae temple in Aswan or the countless other temples in Kom-ombo, Edfu, Abu Simbel and Luxor I always felt that history could be much better if we could offer it in this format.
Walking thru Jerash and Petra in Jordan, standing at the Dead Sea, visiting the various WADI's or enjoying the water activities in Aqaba, climbing the Mt.Nebo has all brought back the various things we learnt in the History classes.
So i think that we need to educate the schools in India about this and would definitely want them to offer these chances of a lifetime to the students so that not only the students can experience the cultures of these countries but also visit the sights and understand History in a much better fashion.
Based on this I have decided to launch some packages which would be made the travel to these places for schools a memorable experience.
